About Infinisomnia

Use of AI

I want to be transparent about where I use AI – and, more importantly, where I don’t!

The stories? No!

The short novels are the heart of this project.

They are entirely my own work.

I enjoy coming up with the stories and writing them. That’s what drives me, what gives me pleasure.

After writing, I use a language model to help me find errors and rough passages in the text. I want to actively learn how to improve my own writing style. That’s why a copy-and-paste of finished text modules is out of the question for me. I don’t want to sound like some generic professional writer, I want to sound authentic.

The images? Yes!

The cover images and the photos on the homepage were generated by image generators.

These are purely symbolic images intended to convey an initial mood. The stories work without them. They are merely decorative embellishments.

The translations? Only as a basis!

I write the stories in German.

Machine translation forms the basis for other language versions, but nothing more.

I carefully review each translation to ensure that the meaning is correct and that linguistic nuances are preserved. My goal is not just a good translation, but one that is truly worth reading.
