Hello and welcome!

My name is Richard Körber, also known as “Shred”. I am the author of the short novel series Infinisomnia.

Writing isn’t my profession, it’s my hobby. My day job is as a software developer.

A few years ago, I started writing just to see if I could tell stories. It was an experiment.

The result surprised me!

Not only did it work, but I became completely absorbed by this new passion. I couldn’t stop dreaming up exciting plots and refining my sentences until they shone.

I also realised that writing code and writing novels aren’t so different. Both demand a strong concept, structure, persistence, creative problem-solving, and a healthy dose of perfectionism.

I believe in open source, which is why my short novels are open (libre) and free for anyone who enjoys thrilling adventure stories.

Will I become a famous author one day? That’s not the goal. I write because I love learning new things and having fun while doing it.
